This talk is about non-duality and polarity consciousness. Polarity consciousness enables a contrast based perceptual system (binary senses) to perceive an inherently non-dual, full-spectrum reality. The polarized version is actually generated by the perception of the observer whereas the original, unaltered reality is not one or the other perception but both simultaneously.
Achieving the non-dual perspective is key to realizing one’s true self as an essence beyond the boundaries of a given linear string of perceptions generated through biological consciousness.
The self that is conceptualized through perception is actually at the most only one half of the true self where the other half is invisible or on the other side of the perceptual boundaries. This half must be realized without seeing directly through the perceptual system or the senses and this is a form of ‘sensate’ beyond sensation.
Another example of the dissolution of boundaries is the transition from waking or semi-consciousness into asleep or dreaming awareness. This occurs one portion at a time as each sense is shutdown and silenced only to be replaced by simulated dream-senses. Because this doesn’t occur all at once, there isn’t a real transition point but an ’emergence’ of your awareness in the dream state which is simultaneously expressed as the absence of your awareness from body-consciousness in the waking state. First the sense of taste and smell are dulled, then the auditory perceptions are silenced, then the tactile senses of pressure, proprioception, pain or temperature are removed and the body feels like a stone, and then flashes of imagery and cognition stream through the inner-space as one slowly constructs the dream environment as the brain ‘fills in’ the gaps of perception as if one is in a natural isolation chamber.
This is also how one transfers from one world to the next, through an accretion of consciousness one portion at a time into a whole new being. The singularity may be a conscious transition all at once, in which there is never a required drop back down through the gradient again for as long as that conscious perspective or self is in existence.
